Cox is a fast moving company with many moving parts. Technology and competition are constantly making the company look for new revenue streams.

Cons

Cox is a large company with many differing philosophies throughout the organization.

Pros

People - The employees of Cox Communications are some of the finest people I've ever had the privilege of working with. Everyone goes out their way to be helpful and kind to each other. Senior (Top) Management - Jim Kennedy, the CEO of Cox Enterprises, is a down to earth decent man. Jim Robbins, the CEO at the time of my employment, until his passing was a wonderful man. Down to earth, and very funny.

Cons

My boss - Total tool. Has ran off most of his staff. But this should not reflect poorly on Cox Communications as a whole. He was 90% of the reason that I left a company I really loved.
