Pros

On site cafeteria. Tons of free vacations, electronics etc won in raffles. Relaxed and fun environment. Excellent opportunity to make $100k per year (if you have no values- see cons)

Cons

The only way to actually meet goals is if you are truly lying (telling half truths) to customers all day long. Wanna know why people talk so cruely about Cox? Cause customers call for a price and are given the price before tax/equipment, promised no install fees (out right lies) and tons of other things we can possibly provide. But if it gets them to their goal (and their supervisor to their goal= $) then there is absolutely no reprocussion. The customers then hate cox, the dishonest employees make tons of money, and the honest ethical employees are left cleaning up everyone elses messes and get no bonus money cause they didnt meet their goal cause theydidnt lie cheat and steal!

Pros

The company is above average when it comes to salary. Quite frankly, many of the leaders don't deserve the salaries they get.

Cons

If you think all of your education, accolades and degrees will get you somewhere in this company, you are completely wrong! It is all about how well you brown nose and WHO you know. It is quite the norm to move people into position who have absolutely NO experience whatsoever. This also happened to me. I was moved along into another position without any training or experience, just because the leaders had a conversation and shifted things around. Employees who get the better positions, get them because of their networking skills or other personal skills (if you know what I mean). There is no home/work balance!!! They will lay off thousands and force the remaining staff to do the work of 2 or 3 people without any increase or leniency.
