Pros

-Free Cable and Internet -Gainshare (they propose a goal for the year and if they meet the goal they split anything in excess with their employees - I didn't stay long enough to actually get this.)

Cons

-Outrageous sales expectations (I feel even more sorry for the people in the tech department - they make them sell even to people calling with technical issues that are already upset) -Continuous price increases to the customers -Even those helping train don't really understand the billing -"Supervisors" were really just an escalation line and if you called them with a question they always had an attitude -The real supervisors job were to harp on you about ever needing to place a customer on hold or have any time to breath in-between calls

Pros

Used to be so many, now they only pro is that we actually have a job.

Cons

Health benefit costs have gotten so expensive it's cheaper to be on Obama Care. Salary is down, management takes care of contractors better than they do employees. Every year they lay off a couple hundred fte's on average. Good old boys club; they say they are a diverse company but the diversity only comes from the numerous Indian contractors that are provided by the vendor companies.

Pros

Cox provides free cable and internet service. Most of the managers are somewhat flexible with your work schedule and store locations close at 7:00pm. Great tuition reimbursement and benefits.

Cons

The pay has gone down year-over-year for some time now, yet my workload has increased dramatically. Management runs each store more like dictators than anything and often do not like any sort of feedback. For a commission job the pay is relatively low, most reps make an average of 37,000 annually. The customers are very rude and hands-down the worst I have ever had to assist.
