Pros

The best reasons to work for Cox Communications are, first and foremost, the Cox culture. The company actively promotes diversity in the workplace, and embraces personal accountability. Attrition is relatively low at Cox because of a company secret: employee job satisfaction is the secret ingredient for customer satisfaction. Finally, at Cox, employees all share in the company's success, and they have many options to take their careers in the direction they want. They can even relocate to another Cox market, from coast to coast.

Cons

Having to work for a living, otherwise, its a good company.

Good people to work with, excellent salary and working conditions. I receive time of as requested and the company often lets employees go early before holidays.

Cons

Office space allocated to junior project managers over highly experienced Senior Software Engineers.

Pros

To gain the benefits of working with a communications provider while learning more about the industry. There are deep discounts made available to your bill if you're within the serviceable area and it's easy to change between customer and employee accounts. When new products or services are being tested employees receive them along with the demonstation regions so you get a first hand look at new offers.

Cons

Very competitive industry and interaction with customers outside of the work place. Many will ask of your assistance on troublesome issues or request discounts in services. You're looked upon as an inside help line and crutch.
