Pros

-Flexible hours -Benefits if you need them -Cracker Barrel cares program is awesome! -Four Park levels; small raise per level completed -Open Door policy -Cross training if you desire for more hours

Cons

- Constantly having to remind manager in charge of schedule to attain my required amount of hours. Sometimes they remember, other times I get ridiculous scrawny hours. -Each position is part time only, so you'll have to do more than one position to reach full time if you apply for anything other than server. -depends on the person, I like going into overtime, but if you do and they don't catch it, you're penalized in the next schedule with fewer hours to make up for it..

Pros

If you're a friendly person, it's one of the best places to work. If you enjoy waiting on elderly people, also a good place. It's super easy to cross-train, and employee meals are great.

Cons

The management at the store I work for is lacking. Elderly people don't always tip twenty percent and most of the other people don't either. Once you cross train, you never get a constant schedule and they ask a lot of you, and if you don't know how it's a pain/confusing to ring up an employee meal.

Pros

Ummmmmmm, no tip share. Can request off pretty easily. More downtime than other restaurants.

Cons

Will never work your way up, but you don't want to! Trainers work their butts off and it's a "privilege"...no benefits for you. No respect for employees who have worked there many years. No thank you's. No appreciation. Cracker Barrel cares about themselves and that's it.
