Pros

Just one positive aspect is that they sponsor H1-B visas. However, apart from a few other genuinely caring individuals, the work culture here is toxic

Cons

1) Toxic work culture has been pervasive within the company, particularly in State and Local business unit. 2) The lack of constructive criticism, coupled with the presence of bad people, has had a significant impact on the mental health of many people. 3) Morale of the team was always down because there was no appreciate of the work that the team did. Because of this negative atmosphere many people left the project and in turn the company's multi-million dollar contract was also terminated by the client (PS: No one at the top faced the brunt of it, only the people at the bottom were laid off) 4) They exploit people, especially those who are on work or student visas. Joined as an intern while on student visa, and they paid $15/hr (which is the minimum wage of the state) for one year until my work visa was approved. It's hard to imagine that someone working at McDonald's could be earning the same as someone working in IT. They will never increase your pay, no matter how many times you ask. 5) The State and Local business unit makes a lot of promises to their employees but never really stood by those promises. 6) Company never invest in their employees or take care about the workforce issue in every project. All the teams of the company, including HR and IT, are severely understaffed. People who join the company immediately leave the company due to the work culture. Overall, the worst company to work for. There is no personal growth, no financial growth, and no mental peace.

Pros

-Great base pay -Management is pretty laid back, fair and approachable -Reasonable hours -Overall a great culture. They encourage you to learn and grow in your role. I learned a lot and became better at the job the longer I was there

Cons

-I had a limited understanding of what the company did aside from my project -Career trajectory a little unclear, but that is sort of the nature of working at a small-ish government contractor -Having the same name (CITI) as a fortune 500 company makes them seem not legitimate at first impression. And aside from the unfortunate acronym, having the words "information technology" doesn't truly represent the type of work I did. I sometimes worry people will think I was working at an IT support/managed service provider if they look at my resume quickly

Pros

CITI Inc supports very good and competitive salary ranges. They have a good set of Clients both in the private and government sectors that work best in terms of Job Stability and Career growth. CITI Inc has a very flexible and open work environment, and the set of clients they have also ranged in the same domain. It is one of the very few companies that give preference to Employees over anything else. It also offers various tools and technologies to work in, which professionally increases your Technical and Managerial abilities. I would also like to mention that the Associate Director (Ashwin Saboo) of CITI is an extraordinarily caring, approachable and knowledgeable Leader. He always goes above & beyond and reachable to all its Employees and ensures all the concerns are addressed to resolution in minimum time. He is well connected and has aspiring Leadership skills, and most of all, is a great human being. Overall it is a great company to work with, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great Career, growth, and work-life balance.

Cons

Small company but willing to work with people to invest in your future.
