Misleading job description as what you are hired to do may not be what be your actual responsibilities. Extremely poor project management. Little concern for customer satisfaction. No clear reporting structure. Disorganized and confusing management as their job titles mean nothing. Example: my hiring "manager" was just another peer developer.

Average pay and benefits. Some government projects involve working with very old technologies. Limited professional growth opportunities. You're basically just another nameless contractor. There is zero company identity.
