We always strive to accommodate our candidates and create a schedule that fits with their other commitments. While we do ask for a six-month availability commitment, we make every effort to adjust schedules when changes arise, as long as we receive proper documentation of those changes. We also wanted to address your concern about driving distances. During the interview process, we make sure to discuss all the cities you’re comfortable commuting to. Based on that information, we use your availability and preferred cities to create your schedule. CSH helps train you for the role requiring no experience. My Case Managers have supported me as I’ve been learning and adjusting to the role. All of the kids are so sweet too.

Cons

Wish there were more overlaps before being on my own, but I do still feel prepared.

We always encourage our employees to reach out proactively to their case managers or BCBAs for support if they feel additional training or assistance is needed. Our goal is to ensure we do everything we can to support our team, which is why we appreciate your proactive feedback so we know where you need support! . As such, your training within CSH is ongoing, as we are constantly evolving to provide the best care for our clients, and that training is also extended to our BTs. Regarding the concerns you've raised, we take them seriously and are always working toward improvement. We apologize if you experienced delays in response times from HR, and we understand how crucial timely communication can be. We're constantly striving to streamline our communication processes to provide better and more efficient support for all our employees. As for the time-off policies, we aim to strike a balance between supporting our employees and meeting the needs of the business. However, excessive time-off requests and cancellations affect not only the business but also the clients, children, and families we serve. Ultimately, everything we do is focused on supporting our clients and helping them become as independent as possible. If excessive time off impacts our clients and the implementation of their doctor-prescribed programs, we must prioritize what’s best for their overall development. Regarding drive times to clients with no compensation, this statement is actually incorrect. We do compensate for both the mileage between clients and the time spent driving. Additionally, during your initial interview, we discuss and confirm the cities you are comfortable commuting to, which is what your driving radius and commute to clients is based upon. Finally, and most importantly, CSH truly values its employees. We couldn't make the impact we do in the lives of the families we serve without the dedication and hard work of our team. Our goal is to help each employee grow and become the best clinician they can be, not only for our clients but for their own personal development as well.
