Our main focus at CSH is to provided quality services for our clients, so we are happy to hear that our clients and our lecture/hands on based training was a pro for you. We want to ensure that we have our hands on training completed here in the office during the week of training.
When we are in the client’s homes, we begin our services based on what was taught during the week of training, which is why it is so extensive. After the week of training, we have overlap/shadowing training in the field. This type of training is more modeling based, in that the supervisor is there with you to improve the skills already understood from training, rather than teaching how to complete the session (this would have already been taught and confirmed that you understood the techniques in the week of training).
Aside from the overlap training we offer, we offer a Mentorship Program conducted by Clinical Supervisors (BCBAs) to guide you with their support in any way (e.g. clinical, administrative, progressive, etc.).
In addition to the training and Mentorship Meetings, we have Directors for each of our regions, and the Human Resources Department is always accessible (via phone, in person, or via email) to address any questions or concerns an employee may have.
