Pros

Staff, and supervisors are all very professional and knowledgeable and truly care for their clients, both children and their families. There is a great sense of "community" working for CS4Hope. (Creative Solutions For Hope) and we all helped each other learn and grow. I have never worked for a more dedicated company. I learned so much from this experience.

Cons

The only issue I had was living in Los Angeles and commuting to Orange County and this made it difficult at times. Other than that, no other complaints.

Pros

Met some great people; learned a lot about ABA. The children and families were great to work with.

Cons

Unorganized management. Lots of driving; drove 50-100 miles a day with very little compensation. The hours are extremely inconsistent; not a reliable source of a fixed income. Management was truly not good as many supervisors aren't qualified to be ABA supervisors; rather they just worked in the company for so long they ended up moving up. Unethical billing standards that made me uncomfortable. Was harassed by supervisor for months; brought it to HR attention and still didn't let supervisor go.

Hi, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience at Creative Solutions for Hope. We aim to provide a great learning experience here, along with support from upper management to aid in employee development. During the interview process, we let our therapists know that we do try to keep them within a 25-mile radius of their homes, but we do also ask our therapists where they feel comfortable driving as well. If a therapist says that they are willing to travel outside of that 25-mile radius, they may be scheduled there as well. Pros

It can be a rewarding job when you are appreciated for your hard work and effort by families and they thank you for making a difference.

Cons

Management takes advantage of therapists. Clinical and Case Supervisors try to pawn off their work on junior therapists. There is no follow through with communication/supervision. They are happy as long as you are fully available to work and don't bring up any concerns so as to not complicate their jobs. Some are clearly on a power trip. On top of this, you are required to drive long distances with no compensation.

Hi, thank you for your review. I apologize that you did not have the best experience at Creative Solutions for Hope. BCBA's/Clinical Supervisors should act almost as a mentor for the Behavior Therapists and support them throughout their growth at the company. Communication is encouraged between the BCBA and the Behavior Therapist (BT). The purpose of trainings and overlaps is to address any concerns or questions you, as a BT, have. Regarding driving, we compensate for both driving time and mileage. We do let our therapists know during the interview that they will need to drive up to a 25-mile radius of their homes.
