Cons

Thank you for the kind review. We take pride in our family culture here at CSH and try our best to hire employees who will embrace that culture. Yes, the job does require a lot of driving because you are traveling to the clients' homes. But, we do compensate for both travel time and mileage so that it benefits you as well.

Pros

-Some kids and families are enjoyable to work with. -holiday party at end of the year.

Cons

-feels like glorified babysitting -therapists are pretty much left to develop and implement activities on their own because supervisors don't provide sufficient support -driving is excessive even though you are lied to about being matched with clients near your area -no reimbursement for travel -trainings on Saturday mornings are more for kissing up to management -hours are not flexible (any time off must be made up and nobody ever offers to cover) -office staff is not personable and are easily put off

Hello, thank you for your review. We love to show appreciation to our employees through gift cards, free meals, and events at the office. I apologize that your experience was not entirely positive. We do our best to respond to emails promptly and will respond within 24 hours, which is stated in the Offer Letter and the Job Description. Because you are working as a Therapist, the child does depend on you for services, and that is why we ask you the commit to their sessions and if you do need to miss a session, to please submit a time-off request 2 weeks prior. The purpose of our trainings is to help you develop your skills as an employee and to help you grow within the company. We want our therapists to be the best for our clients. If you ever need to reach Human Resources, they are always available at HR@cs4hope.com or you can call the front desk to speak to the department as well. Regarding driving, we do try to keep our therapists within a 25 mile radius of their homes. However, if you let us know during your interview that you are willing to travel to cities outside that range, you may be placed there. We also reimburse for travel and help pas for mileage as well. The BCBAs are there to support the Behavior Therapists throughout their training, as well as after for continuous development.

Horrible management

Pros

Great Families and other therapists are great people to work with.

Cons

Horrible Management! High turnover rate due to lack of leadership and support. Requires to work over 12 hours a day plus volunteer on your limited free time. Look down upon when ask for vacations or having two days off! You can only advance in the company if you kiss up to directors and supervisors. Difficult to advance in the company, requires to take a test to advance. Never looks at the skills of the employees. Never receive positive feedback and only see the supervisor on the case once every few months. The pay is not competitive with other companies. Take advantage on employees and families. Care only about quantity and not quality. There are other companies that pay better and support their families with better quality of service

Thank you for the review. We do try our best to create a family culture at CSH, so we are happy to hear that you enjoyed working alongside other therapists on your team. I apologize that your experience here was not entirely positive. We schedule our therapists during the availability that they give us during their interviews. There is no requirement to work on your free-time and we do not condone employees working off the clock. Regarding time off, we do ask that you submit a time off request at least 2 weeks prior to your vacation, which is pretty standard for a company. We encourage employees to advance within the organization, providing their with the opportunity to receive their RBT and gain supervision hours as well. We frequently give our employees shout outs and provide them with rewards for their good work.
