Pros

The company truly works hard to be a great place to work. Before I started with the company I remember thinking "that's nice that they have those awards, but I doubt it's really that great." I can now say I know that being a great workplace is a high priority for everyone in the company, not just to be on the list but to strive to continue improving and moving up. Random acts of kindness, work/life balance, family feel, great benefits, and a passion for hiring and retaining people with PRIDE are just the beginning of why I love coming to work everyday.

Cons

Honestly, the biggest complaints right now are around running out of certain flavored coffee creamer and where coat hooks are placed in the restrooms. If these are the problems we bring to our CEO, I think life is pretty good here!

Pros

Competitive pay. Good benefits. Commissions are not capped. Interesting concept to commission payouts. In right market you can make a nice commission.

Cons

Middle management is stacked with millennials that do not want to manage anyone older than they are. Company has been pushing workers over 35 years of age and flooding new positions with employees in their late 20’s to early 30’s. The EEOC should take a look at some of the company’s hiring practices. Long-term employees have felt pushed out because of age.

Pros

The Company really does care about its employees and reputation as a Great Place to Work. I will be honest and say I was skeptical about this claim, as I had worked for companies who hired me under the premise of being a "great place to work" that ended up falling short of the boast. During my interview process, I was careful to speak to everyone I came in contact with (security guard, people in the lobby and interviewers) and all maintained that they loved working at CA. Part of the onboarding required that I job shadow various departments and I found that EVERYONE I encountered loved working at Credit Acceptance and emphatically proclaimed it as a great place to work. Though I've only been here a few months so far, I can say that none of the red flags or warning signs that the great place to work claims were misleading have surfaced and I LOVE working here. I actually look forward to working on my various projects and interacting with my team. AND my boss is fantastic, and always asking if I need anything from him that would help me do a better job. Best decision I have made in a long time!

Cons

Rapid growth has resulted in new talent needing to get up to speed on processes, applications and company work flow.
