The firm's constant drum beating of "We have a great culture which sets us apart"...from the recruiting stage, all the way to being onboarded and working, is to be taken with more than just a grain of salt...more like a cupful. Too many of the employees I interacted with (not all), and especially leadership I rolled up to - did NOT live up to the claims. And many of the employees faked kindness and "team playing" because it was so heavily preached.
I was stabbed MANY times from the back and side, but almost never told things directly. I was certainly not "coached" - I was penalized. It was like being digitally shanked from the strokes of multiple hidden keyboards. So much for "great culture" and "assuming positive intent." I had so much potential that was never realized.
The training process to bring consultants up to speed was horrendous, extremely disorganized, the trainer wasn't even present for weeks when I started, another trainer didn't even announce that they were my trainer for weeks, I was thrown into a project immediately during onboarding...yet my coach and uppers wasted very little time letting me know that ALL of the fault lied with me for any perceived shortcomings. There was tons of fault-finding/scapegoating.
