Pros

The firm had an established client base to work from and the McLean office was actually well situated.

Cons

• Constant scrutiny and endless second guessing made it obvious there was no real trust in my abilities despite my title. • Decisions that should have been mine were repeatedly overridden by people above me. • Client recommendations were buried in approval layers, causing missed opportunities and unnecessary delays. • The lack of autonomy made it impossible to build real ownership or confidence in my work. • Strategic initiatives I proposed were ignored or completely rewritten, making the entire experience feel pointless.
