Pros
*Benefits are wonderful. 100% covered if you see a Crouse provider. I have yet to get a bill even after being admitted into the hospital. * Easy to transfer if you qualify. * People you work with are wonderful, like family.
Cons
Don't ever think about calling in sick as a doctors note is not excused. I have been taken out of work by my provider twice with contagious symptoms (flu and a intestinal infection with I got from another coworker) and was still written up and was told that no matter what you are not excused unless you are admitted into the ER and then into the hospital. My supervisor would rather have me work sick then to call in. * Union dues is high & the Union doesn't help you at all. * Paying to park is expensive, especially when you are not allowed to park in the garage. They state the buses will pick you up, but I have always been stuck walking in the rain due to no bus.
