After bankruptcy 10 years ago, things changed drastically for the better. Non union benefits second to none. Everyone had to give their all or the place was gonna close.

Cons

Upper management always following way behind the trend, hardly visible to regular employees. No longterm planning visible. Even if a 1 year plan is created it is never followed.

Pros

Great staff, friends and family. pay is good, one of the few hospitals that still offer a pension plan. time off benefits are also very good. great care is expected and i believe given to all who walk through the door.

Cons

sometimes patient load is heavier than it should be, and dont think enough float pool staff at this time. perhaps more float nurses for float pool should be hired. parking and cafeteria is pricey. I think there are some float nursing assts that get away with entirely too much, doesnt get addressed by their manager.
