Pros

Multiple corporate discounts and offers available to employees. Pay for continuing education after 1 year on the job. CEO keeps employees up to date with happenings at Crouse.

Cons

Have to pay for parking and have to be shuttled from south side of Syracuse to hospital drop off location. Pay is not comparable to other central NY hospitals.

Pros

Great staff, friends and family. pay is good, one of the few hospitals that still offer a pension plan. time off benefits are also very good. great care is expected and i believe given to all who walk through the door.

Cons

sometimes patient load is heavier than it should be, and dont think enough float pool staff at this time. perhaps more float nurses for float pool should be hired. parking and cafeteria is pricey. I think there are some float nursing assts that get away with entirely too much, doesnt get addressed by their manager.
