Pros

So many opportunities to make an impact. Total compensation package is great (at least for me). Many jobs can be fully remote. For those that do require one to be in a office, which office is often very flexible.

Cons

Outside of RSUs and ESPP, benefits are relatively weak for tech (but the total comp makes up for it). For example, 401k match is weak both in vesting schedule and % matched, number of holidays is limited, "unlimited" PTO prevents accruals , charitable donation match is low, recognition awards are extremely cheap, medical copay is high. But for me, the high salary, RSUs, and excellent ESPP program all make up for the weak benefits. Some jobs now require presence in the office.

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you've enjoyed the CrowdStrike culture. We also recognize the cons you shared and will take those back to our team. Regarding remote work, we are and remain a remote-first company. For all employees, remote work constitutes 60%—100% of their working experience at CrowdStrike. An increased emphasis on RTO was announced by our CEO in early December and, following that announcement, the leadership of some organizations made the decision, in the best interest of the business, to ask employees close to specific offices to return to office for any two days of each week. Functional leadership has the autonomy to do what makes sense for their function in ways that deliver benefits for their unique workstreams. We have and will make exceptions for employees where such a shift would create hardships.
