Tenured employees no longer valued

Pros

Good benefits, fast-paced environment, lots of locations

Cons

Leadership has no problem dismissing tenured employees who have dedicated their careers to making Crown successful. It used to be that every employee mattered. Now when ranking priorities, employee satisfaction is literally at the bottom of the list.

Pros

Crown Castle has great benefits.

Cons

Senior leadership no longer has a clue what to do. The company hemorrhages talent in key positions and claims that the turnover is normal. If it's so normal to lose key talent then why is the company's number one customer so upset about performance? The company refuses to adjust to the demands of the market to keep people and when the people are gone they just expect the remaining drones to keep it up. Crown used to be centered around it's B3 values but now the key phrase is "Shareholder Value". It's all the leadership cares about. Employees to cut or ignore are just a statistic and nothing else. If it doesn't increase shareholder value then it's worthless to the company.

Pros

Benefits and long-term incentive packages

Cons

Steady cultural decline under current EMT. Acquisition in 2017 gave final blow to what was once an incomparably good employee-focused work environment. Majority of roles are supposed to report to the office three full days a week but hybrid schedule is not uniformly enforced at all, nor are other standards or guidelines. Wasteful spending on needless travel and related expenses is disproportionate and seemingly unmonitored in certain circles. It is money that would be far better spent on securing/keeping real talent or improving antiquated systems. If you value visionary leadership, diversity, efficiency, or meritocracy look elsewhere. It's mediocre at best.
