Pros

Entry level. You will most likely get hired due to high turnover.

Cons

-no full time trainers they hire by the volume. -small group classes aren't small group 12:1 typically. -work on holiday boot camps for minimum wage. -value gym 9.95 a month you get a lot of people crammed into a small space. -management makes minimum wage and work off sales only -no growth as a trainer outside of becoming a manager. Major global gyms have plans to get trainers earning 100k+ with benefits. -Charges above industry average for personal training 65$+ but the floor is packed with little real estate to offer client high value service. -no full time benefits -no cont education $... which makes you less competitive than the trainer down the street.

WORST JOB OF MY LIFE

Pros

you can work out all the time, that's about it. This place is a disgrace for the fitness industry

Cons

You have to lie to your clients in order to have them buy personal training packages, out of those packages you only get a fraction of what you are working for. They push to sell sell sell and meet quotas at the end of the job. The job is a sales job.

Pros

Free membership, Clean and safe environment.

Cons

Terrible leadership. They really lie to people about their packages. There are always 3 or 4 trainers that get all the new costumers directly from the fitness manager and costumer service team and all the other trainers will work here only for maybe 3 to 6 months and then leave.
