Pros

Union-mandated pay raises, benefits for part time

Cons

Inept management, unprofessional employees and managers, questionable ethics in management, they don't care about your hours of availability and will brazenly schedule you during times you told them you can't work. One manager even gave his phone number to several pretty young female employees and told them call him and harassed them for dates. Other management routinely gossiped about employees, started rumors to hurt feelings, and played favorites. Yet others routinely broke rules and didn't get punished for it because they had buddies in upper management. Received no positive feedback even when I knew I did a good job. Only received negative feedback when I made a mistake. Consistently understaffed on cashiers and all departments, and many employees had to cashier even when that wasn't their job. Management also was not above punishing employees for questioning their methods. Management acts like the mafia. Get on their good side, or you won't last long. Very poor management, very bad place to work.

Pros

It's good job for some one who is looking to make some money for their first job, that's mostly the type of people who work there

Cons

most people don't care about the work they do, so you either have to work way harder than everyone else so the job gets done or just not care

Pros

The thought the co workers were easy to get along with once you were able to find time to chat with them.

Cons

Was thinking of going back to CUB Foods as a cashier, however I learned they no longer offer health benefits for part time workers.
