Pros

Leader in diesel engine technology. Good place to learn latest emission technology. Product Development Cycle is well established. Reasonable work load. Very good location to enjoy small town charm.

Cons

Forced performance ranking. It has good intention but seems to have some negative impact on employees.

Pros

Fits my career. They have a great worldwide network. Cummins makes the best engines in the world. Cummins focuses on engines only and not on equipment like some of the competition. The Cummins engines all meet the required emissions standards as place on companies by the government. Because of the quality of engines, it is also a fun place to work. When you have great product, life is nice.

Cons

I believe the management is not open minded enough. We are losing some customers due to upper management styles of running the campany. While the products are great and the worldwide system is great, there are some management problems that ought to be looked at.
