      High Speed Startup Geared Towards Quelling the COVID Pandemic

      Pros

      Curative was a great opportunity to expand on my management experience while working to scale the COVID pandemic. They paid well and provided the resources necessary to take on the challenge of building a business model that works in an uncharted environment.

      Cons

      The speed of growth and uncharted environment allowed for some team members to be placed in management positions who may not have belonged thus creating a imbalanced workload for for experienced team members.

      Pros

      - pays well - free $15 lunch every day - very chill/boring at times - requesting time off is easy

      Cons

      - communication is horrible - higher-ups don't know what's going on more than half the time - everything is done last minute - HR does not take proper action when it comes to complaints - they fire people very easy - hire too many people at once at times - need benefits for temporary employees - they hire anyone and everyone - they constantly change their policies where leads don't even know the updated policies - hours can be very inconsistent - most of the time they prioritize the older aged crew than younger (ageism)

When the need for additional resources to tackle the pandemic became apparent, as a company we dove in to take on the challenge. This sometimes meant inconsistent hours and last minute updates and changes. We have hired an employee dedicated to internal communications to improve specific aspects of our processes. Thank you for sticking with us during a stressful time of change and growth for our company. Your contributions played a vital role in improving the health of our community.
