Pros

Good pay, flexible schedule, ability to gain lots of experience.

Cons

I woke up every day to some regulatory fire that needed to be put out. Management is not trained well on regulatory or safety requirements.

Pros

There is good pay and decent benefits. Salaried employees and CLSs get flexible time off which is unlimited.

Cons

I work in the DC lab. The main problems are communication problems, favoritism, management isn’t always professional, and the company treats employees as if they are disposable. I admit I am treated well here since upper management likes me, but if management does not favor you, they don’t treat you well. The lab managers do not do a good job with updating the schedule or keeping up with PTO requests. Most of them are under-qualified to be in leadership positions when it comes to laboratory medicine and it shows. Many of the people in upper management got their jobs due to favoritism and not due to job performance and qualifications. Additionally, a lot of staff was let go with two weeks notice and no severance.

Thank you for sharing your experience while working at Curative. Curative was established to help end the COVID-19 pandemic, and we did an enormous amount of work toward that cause. With COVID testing slowing down, we needed to make some difficult decisions. We do not take the decision to lay off anyone lightly, but decreased volumes at our labs and across the country warranted this action. We thank you for your part in our effort to end the pandemic and hope that you take pride in that as well. It is our goal for each person on our team to feel supported with open lines of communication from all levels of the company. Additionally, if employees bring forward complaints, Human Resources investigates them in accordance with our internal processes, and all complaints are addressed appropriately.
