Never felt included and disorganized

Pros

Lots of flexibility and competitive salary

Cons

Severe disorganization and no desire to improve or be better. Leadership isn’t very open to change, and the turnover rate severely hinders progress. Every day is a fire drill and there’s no end in sight. My boss was also very disrespectful to me as a person and employee, which is a large reason for me leaving.

Pros

Flexibility, depending on your manager. good rapport with other employees. Autonomous working conditions. Really fun work staff (chemistry glassware washer, kitchen crew, cleaning crew etc). Really nice upper management (my boss' boss and other people at my bosses level).

Cons

Very stringent work conditions with not enough support, but this is always a problem at pharma companies. Management is too busy to really oversee anything. People getting hired without the right credentials or they aren't being reassessed when their work ethic no longer meets certain criteria. When moved to a different department, (kind of a promotion), I was required to work more hours without more money. When I found certain problems and brought them to management, they didn't seem overly concerned and just told me to focus on my job... HR is a joke and Managment, when a possible harassment issue was brought to their attention, they did nothing. in fact, they asked if the person hadn't done all she could to tell the guy no. 😡 People were fun to work with but the job definitely wasn't worth the hassle.

Pros

Near death experiences, no safety department to worry about, and a worthless union to pay. Don’t have to worry about how to spend your time on your days off, cause you won’t have many.

Cons

The management treats the crew as sub human servants and whipping boys. Forced OT is never ending, with a ridged schedule. Need a day off cause someone died, cool, have an attendance point. Iced in, can’t leave the house? Another point. Management can’t figure out how to take care of their own job? It’s your fault, here’s a written warning.

Thank you for your review. We understand that strong leaders are at the foundation of any successful organization so we take these concerns seriously. In an effort to rectify less than positive sentiments around leadership, we are making investments in leadership development through seminars, focus groups, and training. AMRI has consistently achieved year over year improvement within overall EHS performance reflected by an incident rate that outperforms our peers. It is our sincere goal to prevent similar feelings in the future, and our employee reviews are critical to affecting real change. Thank you, again.
