Pros

Very good place to learn for new people like myself. Get exposed to different things, you wear different hats.

Cons

Very low pay but demands long hours. If you dont work 50-60 plus hours, you are slacker. There is no chance of advancement until and unless you are buddy buddy with somebody or they need to fill some spot (even if you are not fit for that spot). Very bad culture.

Pros

Good stepping stone to get experience, thats about it!

Cons

Terrible upper management, don't value employees, terrible pay, no work/family balance, not much room for advancement, no incentive to work hard, employee morale is very bad.

Pros

Many well experienced scientists, decent lab facilities, nice coworkers, exposure to obtain a variety of scientific experience

Cons

Management is all over the place, long hours, hard work is expected from employees but random recognized or rewarded. One of the most defunct Human Resources departments I have ever come across in my long work career.
