Pros

They offered a hybrid model, so I was better able to maintain my work-life balance and take care of personal stuff.

Cons

The management is awful. They are doing a terrible job. Though the agency is growing, the management's approach to adopting new trends and technologies is ridiculous. They don't want to change or upgrade with time. This behavior causes stress for employees who have to adjust to the old ways. Please avoid working here if you like to keep up with industry trends.

Pros

Lots of good, talented people working there. Strong advocates among teams trying to improve the culture. Competitive pay. Good diversity of clients, even though focus is food and ag. If ag or food is your passion, you'll probably love the clients.

Cons

Executive leadership team lacks diversity. Seems to struggle with "understanding" Millennials and GenZ. Very few on leadership team had agency experience prior to working in this organization. Approach to conflict management is painfully dated and ineffective. Discretionary incentive program (could be denied without reason, even if all targets were met). Benefits are average or slightly below other agencies in the area. Rebranded twice in 4 years. Went by FLM+ and FLM Harvest in the past. I would recommend reading employee reviews under those former brands for additional context. Account Services seems to be prioritized and valued above, and sometimes at the expense of, all other teams.

Working here is like punishing yourself

Pros

I, unfortunately, have no positive experience with Curious Plot.

Cons

Working here at Curious Plot is like punishing yourself. Working for this company means that you'll stress yourself out and exhaust yourself. The workload given by the management can be overwhelming most of the time, and being forced to work for extended hours isn't fun either. I suggest avoiding this company.

We're sorry your experience here was stressful and you felt overwhelmed. We hate hearing that. That is not the experience we want for the talented people we bring in. Thank you for the candid feedback. We are working on ways to balance workloads to avoid adding stress to anyone's life. We all have more than enough of that these days.
