I have worked for Curriculum Associates for the last 3 years. Before I started working at Curriculum Associates, I worked in schools as both a teacher and principal for 25 years. As a professional development specialist, I have enjoyed working with amazing teachers and leadership teams in many different school districts. Everyone at Curriculum Associates is very driven to achieve individual and team goals. You always feel supported and have what you need to achieve success. I feel fortunate to be part of an incredible team of professionals, and I always look forward to the next day! Curriculum Associates is a wonderful place to work with great leadership, too. I am proud to be part of a company that wants everyone to succeed and recognizes you for your hard work. It definitely has been an exciting next step in my educational career.

Cons

During the last few years, I have had a wonderful experience as a professional development specialist. I have enjoyed the meetings, trainings, professional development sessions, and the travel. There have been no cons for me while working for Curriculum Associates.

CA has lived up to its commitment to conscious capitalism, leading with integrity and treating employees with grace. In addition to the best work/life balance I've ever experienced in any organization I've worked at, there are many resources and support offered to employees to help further our careers.

Cons

The only con is the busy season in my department, but even during this time, our team is well equipped to deal with the high volume and works together to ensure we maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Pros

Curriculum Associates creates amazing products that support diverse ways and types of learning and you can feel the excitement on the team. We work regularly with team members from across the country, and feel very connected by the culture and values. At the same time, the company is very professional and supportive, providing the best range of benefits I've experienced in my career. I especially enjoy working remotely and the opportunities that includes, being able to remain in my home and not have to move.

Cons

Hours are generally regular; however, proposals can take on an additional lift some nights or weekends.
