Pros

Benefits are terrific, co workers are great, employees with in depth business and process knowledge

Cons

LOW salary compared to industry averages. Bonus structure is horrific and by far, the worst I have ever seen. Direct leadership baits you into believing you are entering the promise land until it is too late. Some bonus plans make you work (4) years before seeing a dime and annual "bonuses" are NOT a % of your base salary like most companies. No formal MRP / ERP systems to speak of; out dated home grown systems with no support. Good luck if you have computer issue if you are not directly under the Corp IT Help Desk. Levels of management who are dead weight (i.e. regional managers) who are clueless what is happening in their regions. Corp refuses to trim low hanging fruit or poor performers because they fear legal repercussions - instead continue to have high turn over of talented employees. Corp culture is disconnected from reality.

The Good, The Bad, and The Things That Make You Scratch Your Head

Pros

The health benefits are great (you'd be hard-pressed to find better, depending on your field of work and experience). Also, the recent implementation of a decent 401(k) match works out nicely.

Cons

The business model is non-conducive to proper employee treatment and proper forward progress in concerns with business division growth. This company is extremely reticent to spend capital to update a business' hardware (PC's and operational machinery to do the job) or furthering the education of employees where it pertains to their job. There is no tuition reimbursement also, tying in with the aforementioned comment about not wanting to invest capital in their employees.

Pros

- Benefits - Pay was decent - Some of the co-workers

Cons

– Management of all levels: - They are clueless to what is going on - They don't know what each job entails therefore, there is a constant battle of who should be doing what - When they can't figure out an issue they fire individuals who took on the issue but weren't fully trained - Assign the work of 3-4 people and expect everything done timely even if that means working 80 hour a week - Micromanaging - Don't know how to talk to or treat employees No work life balance, you have to create your own if you want it Every business unit operates as a silos Lack of onboard training Monthly close process takes weeks to complete because there is not clear way of performing tasks No employee appreciation therefore, employee morale is horrible! Too many politics No room for growth because even if promoted you're still doing your previous duties Not enough employees for the work High turnover Not a good work environment, profanity is constantly used, talking down to employees is a constant as well
