Cool technology but people burn out.

Pros

Cool technology. Plenty of opportunity to learn. Budgets are good and you will work with great people. Compensation is also good, especially when business is good.

Cons

Chaotic environment caused by sever technical challenges and optimistic commitments to customers. Too much turnover.

Pros

Benefits and pay are competitive. Based on my experience in the region, not much work load for sales and field service engineers. It depends on working level at the company but likey job security is better than other american company even after merged by ASML.

Cons

Employee morale is worse after key management positions filled with ex AMAT people. Especially, COO's micro management influences employee morale badly. On top of that, customer satisfaction is getting worse.

Pros

The pay is good for a corporate job. The environment is great if you're a self starter who can finish things quickly and honestly. There are TONS of smart people to learn from, so the experience you gain is top-tier.

Cons

Upper management has a hard time because the technology is so difficult and changing so rapidly. Very difficult company to apply a traditional upper management scheme to, and it is felt at lower levels.
