Hidden gem in the Semiconductor industry. Get overtime after 8 hours of work if in US. Only work half the year due to the compressed work week. Fantastic pay. Get to travel to San Diego often. Great Benefits and yearly bonus. Opportunities to transfer and move into a new location or new job. Not physically demanding on your body. Could do this job for a long time.

Cons

Honestly the best job I've ever had. It would be hard to find a Job that is close to this that pays as well. People who usually quit want to come back. This job only sucks if you work in Oregon due to the customer's high expectations. Every other site is great! Sorry Oregon crew

Pros

Cymer feels like a small company and a big company at the same time - being wholly owned by ASML. You get the nice buildings and benefits of ASML, all while being able to know everyone’s name. Much less red tape than ASML. There’s a lot of challenges in the DUV space, you definitely won’t bored.

Cons

Not as much room for growth as engineers working at ASML. Can feel like you’re working on an island so to speak, not very good collaboration with the rest of the business No WFH
