Pros

New cafeteria, nice campus and plenty of parking. Benefits are above average and pay is fair. Coworkers are generally very friendly and helpful, and technology is top notch.

Cons

Toxic work environment with horrible management top to bottom - parent company needs to step in and clean house. Too many levels of management and too many bad managers. Bullying and cronyism persist throughout. Lots of red tape and many approval levels to get anything done, in spite of current 'empowerment' mantra. Feel good, innovative Cymer days are gone.

Pros

Great technology, good pay and benefits. EUV is separate division controlled by ASML, better run, more opportunity

Cons

The Light Source division is run by the old CEO. No-one is empowered to do anything without his agreement. Won't hear any dissent, hence surrounded by 'Yes' men who simply re-enforce his views. Decision making is consequently painfully slow, which makes the customer support extremely difficult for the folks in the field.

The working peope, in manufacturing are human and a joy to worth with.

Cons

Their mission statement includes: flawlessly. They are typical of what's wrong w/ corporate America. Their employees are just commodities to be used and disposed of as necessary.
