      Pros

      1. We can improve organisation , presentation skills 2. We can learn work in different technologies and different products 3. Knowledge sharing is very good, lots of documentation if we want to learn about different products 4. For every thing there is spec (some time it is -ve also), so less chances the you make mistake

      Cons

      1. Too much documentation work, every work needs to be documented, some time it is pain in the *** 2. No much time to think and work, it is fast pace work environment. Project deadlines are inpractical. Work environment is very tough. 3. Creativity is not given much importance. company policy is "follow the spec or change the spec". 4. Lots of layoff during down turns. 5. Job will keep changing, so we can only be "jack of all trades". But it is good company for freshers, to get 360 degree view of IC design.

      Good for NCG to gain experience. Forget about being a loyal employee.

      Pros

      As new ncg hire, you get into the rotational program so you'll exposed to different functional groups and understands what each of them do.

      Cons

      Too micro-managed. They'll you make you file your work report every other day. Management likes to point fingers and loves the insulting languages.
