Pros

Great work environment Growing company, Industry leader Wonderful workers Employee stock plan

Cons

Terrible culture of hiring based on friendship rather than qualifications. Friends of the boss get to have a wonderful work/life balance (work from home every Friday, come and leave whenever they please, 2+hour lunches etc..) . Others work 50+ hours a week at a minimum, sometimes with no lunch break and still get criticized, mocked, harassed even and taken un-due advantage of. Making all employees take the JJKeller training courses is great, but none those ethical rules (for ex: hiring friends as direct reports) are followed at all. This is true from executive management all the way to the lowest ranks! Very shocking and discouraging to say the least.

Pros

The people you work beside can be wonderful, if you’re within the right group. If you like witnessing a good melodrama from the inside out, join up but be prepared to swim for your life.

Cons

Leadership is heavily lacking. How many CEO’s is this place going to cycle through? Company is starting to fall apart from the top down. Clueless leadership in certain parts of the organization. Some flat out disengage unless they need something to pad their own numbers. Good people are leaving one after the other, finding better opportunities with more stable companies. They purged 25% of their workforce in 2020, and the business was not even as underperforming as it is now. Departments are getting outsourced, for cheap overseas labor. Organizational units are getting lumped together under leadership that is completely inept and ignorant to their operations ( see third sentence at the top). Their workforce diversity is nonexistent. Women in leadership are often talked about by male management as doing questionable actions for promotions. Some of them even celebrate undermining their female counterparts. Definitely examples of fragile egos running amok. It is a huge boys club, and HR plugs their ears, closes their eyes, and pretends this doesn’t exist. They are well aware, but choose to not stop it. Instead they created a Women’s Group and a Diversity Support Group. Here is a hint. If you treated women and other races well, and those groups of people felt empowered and supported at your company, those groups would not need to exist. The one women in leadership over Operations is being hunted by guys who run around calling one another ‘Brother’. I hope she is watching her six. She worked hard to get there, and the newer blood is slithering in and having closed door meetings, throwing back whiskey together and keeping her at arms length. Watching this all unfold is sickening. One day I will get out of here, and believe me I am looking. Do yourself a favor, ignore the spin and hype of this being a great place to work. It used to be. It used to be incredible. However the leadership that created that is long gone. Now it is just complete garbage.
