Pros

Variety of different types of projects that you'll work on. There are alot of opportunities to contribute and make a difference in the company in various ways, including relatively new employees being welcomed on various committees that affect company policy. Flexible schedule options.

Cons

There's a high degree of freedom, limited oversight, and limited but continuously growing training programs. This causes difficulties for some, but if you're a driven individual this means ample opportunities to stand out. There's tons of knowledgeable help available, but you do need to ask for it.
