Pros

- Great Co-workers, team work - Inspiring students that always make you laugh/smile and bring out the best in you - the salary is unbelievably awesome for teachers with more education/experience, and you have the summer off! :-) - professional development opps, fellowships/scholarships and summer travel opportunities

Cons

- Politics, drama, turn over in staff - Every year is something different (new initiatives, new systems...) - Inconsistent evaluations, constantly being watched and evaluated can be unnerving! (even when you do a good job) - Early brutal mornings, sometimes late nights - Not glamorous at all (you've gotta be ready to be humbled, hustle, and roll up your sleeves, no leisurely one hour lunches, high heels and a beautiful/quiet office environment)
