Pros

Vacation, 401k, 40¢ raise lol

Cons

They do not care about experience! They pay on years of service. Fellow employees are worthless and leadership doesn’t care. Pay is lower than competitors. Was told to do computer based training, when finished they would increase pay.Move to an operator I,II etc. Had them done for over a year and still can’t get a raise! health insurance changed 1/1/19 and now it sucks! $4000 individual $10,000 family max out of pocket! After paying $450 month for a family of 4. Some of the leadership are too laid back, they let employees get away with too much.

Pros

Springboard into other oil and gas opportunities. Flexible work schedules.

Cons

IT / EnergyLab leadership is toxic. Continue to place the wrong people in charge of the EnergyLab and IT groups. Driving good people out or having people lose motivation. "initiative-itis" is a huge problem. DCP's tries to reign in operational spending but sends people to California for technology ventures left and right which is a huge waste of money of priorities that actually impact the bottom line. DCP has a strong CEO but Executive Committee is filled with talking heads that don't inspire change or action. Commercial group has good leadership but operations continue to hold company back.

We continue to make investments in our technology and are excited to be recognized as an industry leader. DCP ventures, based in the technology start-up center of San Francisco with operations in Denver, continues to produce results we're proud of, as recently highlighted in the March 2019 edition of Midstream Business: https://www.hartenergy.com/exclusives/dcp-counts-technology-get-20-177419. We’re sorry to hear of your disappointment; we endeavor to be a great place to work and to engaging employees in quarterly feedback to help co-create the environment and culture where we can all be at our best. We're proud to be recognized as a top employer and will continue to transform and to build a stronger DCP for years to come.

Management decides upgrades, environmental and safety installations by cost, capital wins over O&M too often.
