Pros

Work for a Japanese company gives you the necessary stability to focus on your job regardless of the situation of the market you are working for. Japanese concepts are also very strong, such as 5S, genchi genbutsu and all those quality tools developed by them.

Cons

It takes a too long time to develop a strong career. Seniority seems to be a key factor to be promoted. Japanese companies in general are not adept of new concepts when it comes to management and human resources management. It seems that they stopped a few decades ago and does't understand that people are the keys for the development of a company.
