Pros

Vast opportunities to cultivate new relationships within the Realtor community. Effective business model that encourages communication between the point of sale through the close.

Cons

No Cons from my experience. Company structure allows new employees easy access to builder sales agents to cultivate new relationships. Great place to work and grow.

Pros

They have great benefits for the employees. The overtime is good. Randy Present is a really good guy that does care

Cons

Horrible company to work for. Absolutely no work life balance. Overtime is optional, NOT mandatory but if you don't work it, you are made to feel like a criminal. Expect you to adapt to their way and be more than perfect within a month. Expectations from employees, especially in closing is 100% unrealistic. You have 1 person doing the job of 9 and that is not fair. Turn times are also unrealistic. Management doesn't care how you feel. If you are overwhelmed they tell you to find a way to get or done. That is after you are told that they will reduce your pipeline if you become overwhelmed. There no work life balance and that causes issues with those who have families. Managers leave on time when their employees are still in the office working at 8 or 9 PM. Micromanagement is totally uncalled for. And there is not enough recognition for the employees and how much they sacrifice to be an employee.

We appreciate you providing feedback about your time at DHI Mortgage, but are sorry that your experience wasn’t what we strive for with our teamwork centered culture. We agree that work life balance is critical for long term happiness, but overtime is necessary during certain times of the month and year to support our customers in achieving the American Dream. We will continue to be focused on staffing appropriately in order to support the goals of both our team and our customers.
