Pros

None, other than getting a paycheck

Cons

DLC is not what it pretends to be. They treat employees as commodities, not as human beings with dignity, just as items being sold to their clients, some of which are more than dysfunctional. Has one ever heard of any organizations with plants in multiple states with multiple ERP systems, yet they talk about processes all the time. Some of the senior staff at one client do not even appear to fully know what they are doing. And their benefits just suck! They are a Temp agency throwing benefits out to recruit you but those benefits turn out to be nothing but a shell of what real benefits truly are, and they are very expensive. In other words, they are not upfront in their interview process when they make outlandish promises, to make us feel like we are working for a Consulting Firm, when in reality they are nothing more than a basic staffing agency for high level professionals.

Pros

4 industries, 5 clients across Fortune 1000, and 6 projects spanning across all key areas (accounting & operations, financial reporting, FP&A, and currently an ERP implementation) in a little over 2 years. Not to mention the diverse exposure to new systems under my belt and all of the genuine professionals, both internal and external, that have grown within my network. As a formal auditor who worked on several clients across various industries, I can conclude without a doubt, there is no other company or position that could have offered this type of diverse, value-added experience to my career within that same window of time. Time is our most precious asset, and DLC offers a unique full-time, salaried model that compensates every billable hour worked with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K, bonus incentives, etc).

Cons

It appears that the most common con among other reviews is the commute. Although this is out of our control as consultants, our Business Development team does a great job trying to minimize our commute and to limit an "above-average" commute every 3-4 project rotations. In my own personal experience, they have been very receptive to our concerns and cognizant of this when placing us on our next project.

Pros

Decent paycheck if you are looking for something between jobs

Cons

Was pretty clear in the interview process on what my role(s) would be, complete bait and switch. This is not a consulting firm. It is a temp staffing firm. The jobs you will be doing will be low level accounting types of roles. They are somewhat unethical when it comes to billing. Management does not truly understand what consulting is.
