Pros

- A lot of great coworkers - Amazing annual retreat - Work from home with flexible schedule - Fully paid medical and dental insurance - Maternity/Paternity leave - 36 hour work week was a nice benefit, but not everyone was allowed to use it and it was recently cut anyway

Cons

- A dizzying amount of senior leadership turnover - Ever changing priorities leading to a graveyard of abandoned projects and rework with everything being an emergency - A culture of finger pointing and blame - A lot of reactive and short-sighted decision making - Complete disregard for the input of subject matter experts

Pros

- Remote work - unless you're in Tampa, FL because there's an office there now after an acquisition - Yearly company offsite in a tropical spot - Unlimited PTO - Home office buildout allotment - Outside of leadership, the people you work with are great. Passionate about what they do and very smart.

Cons

- Got rid of Flex Fridays (every other week was a 4-day week, took it away after 5 years due to the company not meeting its goals). This was a major benefit that helped employees in other ways like reducing daycare costs, being able to take trips without taking special PTO, helped with work/life balance, etc. Gone. - ELT turnover (most recently the second CMO leaving after only a year, added a CRO), CFO has only been here a year, CPO less than a year, CTO a little over a year - Toxic leadership from CEO across the board—called the entire company "sloppy, sad, pathetic" on an all-hands call and never apologized. - The company sponsors an IndyCar driver despite pushing financial efficiency in other areas (it SEEMS like the CEO just wants to go to races and he hired his wife to be "Race Supervisor/Alliances Evangelist" so she can go too). Sponsoring something so expensive just doesn't seem to be what a company struggling to meet its goals should do. - Health insurance is really expensive if you have dependents and cost is going up. - Frequent leadership turnover, product team not meeting their deadlines, trying the same tactics over and over to see if they'll work with new leadership is just the definition of insanity.

Toxic work environment

Pros

Decent health benefits but stops there.

Cons

I’ve seen the company go through a few leadership changes and each time it gets progressively worse. Quotas consistently go up and commission structure has consistently changed. Product has not been innovated since it was initially launched and they expect AEs to still sell an outdated/ half baked product. Sales, Marketing, product and engineering work in silos. No cohesion amongst any of the teams. Fear management and micro management tactics by sales leadership. Fridays off is now at managers discretion, which means it’s off the table.
