Challenging and Rewarding: A Place for Growth and Excellence, If You're Ready

Pros

At DNSFilter, the innovative culture is matched with competitive compensation, rewarding those of us who thrive in its dynamic environment. The approach to remote work ensures flexibility, promoting a work-life balance that is especially beneficial for mature and experienced workers who value autonomy. This setting not only empowers us to manage our projects with a degree of independence but also encourages a culture where self-driven individuals can truly excel. The supportive and collaborative team dynamics further enhance this environment, making it an ideal workplace for those ready to embrace challenges and grow their careers.

Cons

DNSFilter's high-paced and high-pressure environment is definitely not for everyone, but it offers a unique advantage for those who thrive under pressure. This intensity is due to the company's commitment to excellence and innovation, pushing employees to their full potential. While the rapid pace and demanding workload can be challenging, it often is a catalysts for professional growth and skill development. While it can be very tough, I guess on the flip side, employees tend to be well-compensated for their efforts in cash, benefits and time off, recognizing the dedication and hard work required to succeed in such an environment. This approach fosters a culture of high achievers who are continuously motivated to excel and innovate.

Pros

-Rotating Fridays off -Company/team retreats -Handful of smart people (but they don't stick around) -HR is excellent at soliciting Glassdoor reviews from new hires -No alligator pit to be thrown into?

Cons

-Ridiculous amount of turnover, likely attributable to political factions. In 3+ years, no CxO lasted more than 12mo -Constant layoffs, even when business is good, simply because "that's the current trend in tech" -Blame driven culture -Poor raises -Extremely political (mentioning this 2x). People with huge egos that talk about how great they are, but don't actually do much to help advance objectives. Pros at claiming other people's work as their own. -DEI efforts included "naming your favorite minority musician" in #allhands
