Pros

Salary higher then average. Work place environment is comfortable in general. Flexible work hours. Encourage people to position themselves in their right work area.

Cons

Trends to neglect employee other inputs and views. Not a work place to gain knowledges. Target set to unreachable high level. Treated base employee as a small gear.

Pros

It is a global company with its eye on the ball and they are reasonable about goals and profits. There are possibilities to work abroad and it pushes a global perspective on business and attempts to steer clients to winnable strategies -- they focus on 'risk management' so this should be no surprise. The benefits are better than USA standard.

Cons

It remains a corporate entity and while flexible as the local management allows, there remains a whopping amount of rigmarole that comes with it. I like my coworkers and what I do, though not the sleep schedule on the job so much, but more than 4 layers of management means few people know anything about what I do.

Pros

Good reputation, Interesting opportunities if you are at the correct Business Area. There are good opportunities to travel abroad. The are some locations where is very good to work on. It is a fair place (maybe due to the location in scandinavia) when is treated to work with family and kids. It is a good location if your are a family man. If you are a woman and interested in management is actually a real good place, however compensation might not enought to get the longer working hours.

Cons

Promotions is on politics based. It is not on merit. If you are not a Scandinavian there is a big glass ceiling Fairness is related to ethinicity Management is not really aware of foreigners differences working behaviours. Norwegians are too proud to admit that they do any mistakes. There is a "hidden" agenda that only local nationals do things right. Compensation (salary) is not the best.
