      Thanks for the review. Yes, given the the high latitude and elevation locations of some of our great offices, the construction season is highly variable. May through October the pace can be frantic at times. Enjoy the winter break and we will be back in construction season before we know it.

      Pros

      All employees seem invested in how my transition is going and my workplace happiness, and are willing to help fill availability if I do not have a task. Coworkers respond well to my questions, and go above and beyond in creating learning experiences that help me come to the solution, rather than simply providing the answer for me. Employees in all practice areas synergize, creating a fun variety of projects.

      Cons

      Challenges with staying busy while being a new employee, especially when you are not in a position to find your own work (however this is understood as a new hire). Some supervisors may not seem prepared to train new staff, as there is a knowledge gap that comes with working in this realm for an extended time.
