Cons
Everyone is grumpy and the vibe is terrible No work-life balance. You will be expected to work extra hours/weekends Performance evaluations will be based off office gossip (I.e. what the guys say about you at poker night) over actual performance Efforts to improve will be met with resistance and trying to go with the flow will be viewed as complacency Communication throughout the company is poor, resulting in difficulty completing job related tasks A lot of unnecessary tasks due to a distrust of employees and old fashioned tech/processes Favouritism/clique-y behavior Major burnout and I was strongly discouraged from taking any PTO
