Pay is well below industry average and management and upper management seem to find every excuse possible to not give you a raise, or give you as small a raise as possible. Management has very little respect for its employees time. An employee of mine had to travel and work 5 days a week in a different city for 4-5 months straight covering for a position that had recently become vacant before being promoted. So they basically paid him entry level salary for working in a management position. DXP also does not promote from within; some employees have been there for 10 plus years without having been promoted once. Managers are hit or miss. My team consisted of two managers. One was very competent while the other one had no business being in the position he was in.

The worst employees get the best jobs since the management doesn't want to deal with them.
