Pros

Hard working employees who want to do the right thing but unfortunately many of those good people are leaving.

Cons

Management team not dialed in to real issues and have no real understanding of what it takes to do the actual work.

Pros

Most of the people I work with are pleasant enough. The shop workers are easy going too.

Cons

Every year that I have been here we have apparently lost money. From what other people say, this is a routine situation. Bonuses are based off of us making money so we never get a bonus.

Pros

Really good benefits package. Not very complicated work since they are trying to make everything standard. Somewhat easy work.

Cons

Standardization is also one of the downsides. There isn't much room for creativity. They have done the same thing 100 times and it's pretty similar. You tend to do a lot of copy and paste things with excel. The other major downside is that there is no accountability. Like last year where an engineer failed constantly and the rest of us had to pick up the pieces to finish the project. We would have hoped that he would have been sent out to learn but he only came out twice and made didn't spend any time on his mistakes. It was very frustrating. When I consulted both of the managers in the office they agreed and would pass it up the flagpole but instead he gets a promotion.
