Pros

Pay and benefits not bad. the company is trying to fixing certain things.

Cons

Lack of clear direction from supervisors. They have no interest on helping you solve your project problems. Controls group is trouble too many politics. They Setup some employees to Succeed others to fail specially non white races. Yes controls group management is racist they might down play it. If you are looking for exciting career at Wyright stay away from KY office.

Pros

I had a really great manager. He was always busy but seemed to care about my growth. The was always something to work on. There was no shortage of work. The engineers that stick around will certainly have job security as long as they are willing to travel. They also have really good health insurance.

Cons

The travel can get out of control fast. All of the engineers of any skill are constantly traveling to one crisis project or another. No one seems to get to finish what they started on. It’s clear that we are being treated as numbers. My manager seems like he really cared but had no control to stop it. The leadership of our group has outwardly said that we are all replaceable. I’ve heard them say in on a conference call as well as in the office. Back when we were in the office. The expectations keep going up but the rewards aren’t keeping up to make it worth the fights we have to go through. For all the people that remain it only gets worse for them trying to pick up the slack of those that are no longer there. This is very much a burnout job.

Pros

Benefits, Casual attire, Decent pay, Time off

Cons

I received no orientation when I started my position so I basically had to learn on my own. Works off of 2 different systems Boss is nonexistent and doesn't engage with department. No team comradery or team building No sign of leadership from company. Lack of structure Takes days or maybe even weeks to get an answer from IT. If you are looking to grow in this company, this company is not for you. Procedures are outdated, and if you try and do your job a better way or more efficient, then you're questioned.
