Very good working atmosphere. Excellent work-life balance. Fair salaries and promising pipeline

Cons

Too many people involved in every activity. It is almost impossible to be given any responsibility if your position is below "Director". Some departments are too much physician-oriented and make almost impossible to get promoted if you are not a physician, but a pharmacist, biologist, etc..

There are some really good experienced people at DS who are a pleasure to work and collaborate with. There are opportunities for individual growth and development, if you make them.

Cons

POLITICS POLITICS POLITICS. There is a woeful lack of vision. Repeating mistakes of other projects. Too much Executive Management interference in study activities. Too many Yes-Men (and women). Lack of cross functional communication across regions, high performing staff being made redundant while coasters abroad are "safe" Top heavy management layers. Not enough people to actually do the work.
