Pros

There is nothing good I can say about the company.

Cons

Daniels maintains extremely low pay for existing staff. They have not offered a pay increase in years even after many requests. New people are being hired at higher rates. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a long term career. They say they want to look after the drivers and other staff since we are important to the business but just saying it and not providing proper compensation is another thing. They try to squash in attempts of unionising before we get chance.

We're sorry that your experience working at Daniels was such a negative one, we acknowledge that we did have some pay rates within our business two years ago that, whilst always above award rates, were not always consistent at a plant level. Our leadership team has invested a lot of time in the last two years to benchmark renumeration across the business, invest in greater employee benefits, and work with plant managers to improve communications. We are determined to keep improving our national processes to ensure that your experience is not shared by others. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

The people I work with at Daniels Health are incredible, the culture is fantastic and the company actually invests in me personally and my development from the CEO down. I get the opportunity to enhance my skills and grow professionally and I also get to enjoy working in a fun environment where I can play ping pong at lunch time. I love working for a company with a purpose and Daniels Health genuinely cares about making healthcare safer and protecting people and it's not hard to tell.

Cons

As with any growing company there are always growing pains, no company is perfect but at least they're giving it their best effort and I can commend them on that.

Thank you, I am so encouraged by your feedback and the enthusiasm you have for our company, its culture and its vision. Working in the Chicago support office, we all play a vital role in the support of our sales and operational-staff and the service delivered to our customers, it's a pleasure to have people around me that truly believe in the value of what we do. I don't believe any company ever stops having growing pains, however what I have learned in 34 years of business is that the more passionate and skilled people we have around us, the stronger we are to build rather than be daunted. As a leadership team, we are absolutely committed to filling our hiring gaps, raising leaders and giving our people the opportunity to help shape the Daniels Health of tomorrow. Thank you for your commitment to our company and its vision. I wish you all the best in your continued growth with our company, I value your partnership. Yours, Dan Daniels

Hi there, thank you for your detailed feedback and whilst we agree that we have great people working for us, we are deeply surprised and disappointed to hear about your perception of management and the negative experience you have had with us. We have and we continue to invest significant resources into hearing the voice of our employees. Broadening the methods we engage with our team has become paramount, particularly during the COVID season. We hope our employees see the public and confidential platforms available to them to share their thoughts/ideas/experience. If you are open to a confidential conversation, we would love to hear from you to better understand where the gap was in you not feeling invested in/ encouraged during your time with us.
